Job summary

AVG Modular is looking for a Production Designer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for converting approved designs into accurate, production-ready drawings and coordinating with the production team to ensure smooth execution.

We require a Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design or a related field, with 5+ years in modular or interior design manufacturing and strong AutoCAD skills. Knowledge of modular construction and manufacturing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design or a related field.
• Min 5 years of experience in modular or interior design manufacturing.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD software and reading production drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed production drawings, working drawings, elevations, sections and layouts for modular furniture and interior projects.
• Convert approved designs into practical and manufacturing-ready drawings.
• Prepare accurate dimensions, material specifications, hardware details and other production requirements.
• Coordinate with Design, Production, Procurement and Project teams.
• Communicate with the shop floor to clarify drawings and resolve production-related issues.
• Review drawings for errors before production.
• Make revisions based on site conditions, design changes or production requirements.
• Ensure drawings are released within project timelines.
• Maintain records of drawings and revisions.
• Identify practical solutions to improve production efficiency and reduce errors/rework.
