Job summary

Medwise Overseas is seeking a Production Chemist in India (Gujarat, Ahmedabad District) to oversee hands-on manufacturing of tablets, capsules, ointments, and liquids in a GMP-compliant environment. The role involves following approved SOPs, maintaining BMRs, and ensuring quality and safety in daily operations.

The ideal candidate will work in the F&D Lab/Manufacturing Unit, coordinating with QC/QA and contributing to process improvements while ensuring clean, well-maintained production areas

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Tablet, Capsule, and Liquid dosage forms.
• Sound knowledge of GMP/GLP and documentation practices.
• Familiar with production processes and SOPs.
• Ability to coordinate with QC/QA and maintain documentation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day production activities for Tablets, Capsules, Ointment in product category regulatory compliance, Liquid formulations as per approved SOPs.
• Operate and monitor production equipment such as granulator, blender, compression machine, coating machine, capsule filling, and liquid manufacturing units.
• Ensure adherence to GMP, GLP, and safety standards during production activities.
• Maintain and complete batch manufacturing records (BMRs) and production-related documentation accurately.
• Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) and Quality Assurance (QA) for in-process checks and compliance.
• Handle raw materials, intermediates, and finished products as per defined procedures.
• Identify and report deviations, breakdowns, or process issues to seniors.
• Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper maintenance of production areas and equipment.
