Job Summary

Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.

Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard. Comply with HSE standards, policies, procedures and regulations. Use appropriate personal protective equipment. Promote interdependence by looking out for one another. Quality Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Identifies and controls non-conforming material. Delivery Fully proficient with all work processes, independently operating equipment to manufacture and assemble product in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations. Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less capability. Achieves production goals. Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks. Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet production goals. Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair. • Ensuring compliance with all HSE policies, procedures, and safety practices to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitoring production activities to achieve required cycle time, productivity, and delivery targets.
• Supporting quality systems by ensuring adherence to SPC, poka-yoke, visual standards, and inspection requirements.
• Identifying and controlling non-conforming materials and escalating quality concerns promptly.
• Coordinating with operators, maintenance teams, skilled trades, and support functions to minimize downtime and improve equipment effectiveness.
• Coaching and guiding operators to improve skill levels, operational discipline, and process adherence.
• Maintaining housekeeping, operator care, and preventive maintenance activities to sustain manufacturing efficiency.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, process optimization, and material flow.
• Ensuring effective communication and shift handover among all three shifts for uninterrupted operations.
