Arabelle Solutions invites applications for a Generator Rotor Assembly Operator to join our manufacturing team in Gujarat. You will perform daily rotor assembly activities on the line, ensure quality per SI standards, and align with ISO:9001 & ISO:19443 while applying SQDC principles.

• Operate rotor assembly line per ISO standards and SQDC targets.
• Follow EHS guidelines and report safety incidents.
• Perform D-lead brazing, assembly, UT inspection, winding and insulation tasks.
• Set up rotor on roller, monitor production and adjust tools.
• Use measuring instruments and electrical testing for rotor winding.
• Maintain lean housekeeping (5S, Kaizen) and safe workplace.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure uninterrupted production.

Perform the daily operations of Generator Rotor assembly in line with ISO:9001 & ISO:19443 along with SQDC approach to achieve shift wise target as per inputs & standard work. Contributes to team efforts in accomplishing the organizational goals

• Follow Organization EHS guidelines & participate actively in all EHS activities & initiatives.
• Report any stop work or concerns related to EHS & Quality and report all safety incidents as per EHS guidelines.
• Perform & assign activities in line with work specific regulatory compliance and organizational EHS policy.
• Competent for assessment of risks & hazards associated with the task & respective mitigation actions.
• Undergo required EHS trainings to work safely & perform tasks in safe manner. Shall acquire the respective authorization/training before performing an activity.
• Ensure that all Contract workers are performing the assigned activity safely while working with you or nearby area.
• Knowledge about basic EHS guidelines/Environmental aspect and risk related to activities of Generator Rotor Assembly.
• Understanding of nuclear safety culture and ITNS-I & A (Important To Nuclear Safety- Item & Activity).
• Review and understanding of machining documents like MOPs, SOPs, drawings, KSL and FMEAs.
• Perform rotor set up on roller for turning operations and precise quality measurements as per instructions & requirements.
• Perform D-lead brazing & Assembly operation, Lead Assembly into rotor & connection assembly, rotor half coil assembly with brazing of joints, UT inspection of brazed joints, inter-turn insulation assembly, Slot Wedge assembly, Hot Curing of Winding, Retaining Ring Insulation Assembly, manual drilling- tapping, grinding, shrink fitting of Retaining ring & other shrink fit components, hot work and deburring.
• Monitoring of production, adjusting appropriate setting of tool-tackles.
• Knowledge of usage of measuring instruments, error check & its application and usage of electrical instruments for rotor winding testing.
• Knowledge of manual & power tools & its application, trouble shooting of conventional machine.
• Familiar with Chemical handling & chemical storage, able to interpret MSDS related to associated chemicals.
• Lean approach likes 5S, Kaizen etc and maintain safe & clean workplace.
• Teamwork and Coordination with fellow operator team & cross functional team for uninterrupted Production.
• Support other machine shop team & assembly team.
