Qualifications

• Ensure raw materials and rubber compounds are inspected and tested at decided frequency.
• Prepare testing and inspection procedures for all laboratory end tests and inspections
• Create operating instructions for all laboratory equipment and instruments
• Calibrate laboratory equipment on time and maintain calibration records
• Maintain compound history cards by grade
• Maintain identifications and traceability of raw materials and rubber compound batches with their inspection and test status
• Keep records of all tests and laboratory-related activities
• Maintain records of drawings and standards related to lab testing and inspections with latest versions
• Maintain laboratory work environment and test conditions per drawings and standards
• Perform statistical analysis and interpretation of test results to assess process capability
• Interact with customers to clarify test and inspection criteria during visits for understanding and verification
• Set testing equipment parameters and prepare test slabs and buttons for raw material and compound tests
• Conduct product performance tests according to specifications
• Maintain records of all test and inspection data in relevant formats
• Coordinate services for lab equipment under AMC and resolve operational problems
• Coordinate outsourced testing for Raw Material/compounding/product testing
• Notify maintenance for operational problems in test equipment and resolve promptly
• Maintain proper housekeeping of the Laboratory
• Display all documents related to visual control
• Adopt GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ensure safe operating conditions

• Co-ordination of services done for all lab equipment's under AMC while resolving the operating problems of such equipment's.
• Co-ordination for all outsourced testing related to Raw Material/compounding / product testing
• Intimating maintenance department in case of any operational problem in test equipment's and resolving it at the earliest.
• Maintaining proper house keeping of Laboratory
