Job summary

Comviva in Bengaluru seeks a software QA engineer to understand and document software requirements and testing scope, and to prepare test strategies, plans, data, and reports. You will perform functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and load testing across telecom networks.

You will develop testbeds, execute tests on 3G/4G/5G environments, and verify defects through the lifecycle while contributing to test automation and collaboration with development, product, and network

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Experience in telecom testing or software QA is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of test design, execution, and defect lifecycle.

• Protocol stack knowledge: SS7, SIGTRAN, IP, SCCP, M3UA, and TCAP.
• Load testing and performance testing.
• Testbed preparation and environment configuration.
• Code coverage and debugging tools: JUnit, JMeter, JaCoCo, GDB, and Valgrind.
• Test automation tools and frameworks: Selenium, Robot Framework, Sahi, Postman, Rest Assured, and Appium.
• Scripting and programming languages: Python, Perl, Shell, Java, and PHP.
• Relational databases: MySQL, Oracle, and MariaDB.
• Operating systems, virtualisation, and web servers, including Tomcat and Apache HTTP Server.

Experience

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in software testing, telecom testing, test automation, performance testing, or quality assurance.

Qualifications And Expertise
