Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Product Specialist to join the engineering team in Bengaluru/Pune, with hybrid work arrangements and a 12:00 PM–9:00 PM shift. The role focuses on supporting development and maintenance of industrial automation configuration and selection tools.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, UX, and QA to define requirements, validate functionality, and improve product accuracy and user experience. This is a full-time position based in India.

Responsibilities

• Provide product and technical expertise to support development and maintenance of industrial automation configuration and selection tools.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Commercial Engineering, UX, Development, and QA teams to define, document, and validate product requirements.
• Analyse product, system, and business rules to ensure accurate functional and technical specifications.
• Support discovery, requirement-gathering, UAT, and validation activities to improve tool accuracy, usability, and customer experience.
• Maintain product data, configuration rules, and supporting documentation for implementation by development teams.
• Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities that impact tool functionality and user experience.
• Monitor market and competitor tools to provide practical insights and recommendations to product stakeholders.
