Job summary

Siemens India in Goa is seeking a seasoned Product Owner to own the end-to-end delivery of a product release. You will translate market needs into a release backlog, orchestrate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliant, secure, and on-time delivery with measurable quality and cost outcomes.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in PM for Embedded Software/Hardware, PMP certification is a plus, and fluency in English is required; German is an advantage.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of project management experience in Embedded Software/Hardware.
• PMP certification is a plus.
• Fluent in English; German language is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering.

How You’ll Make An Impact

• In your role as Product Owner, you will own the end-to-end definition and delivery of a product release from start to product release. Translate market needs into a clear Release Backlog, orchestrate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliant, secure, and on-time delivery with measurable quality and cost outcomes.
• Define product requirements (not increments), scope, and timelines in alignment with the roadmap.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog; ensure clarity of user stories and technical stories.
• Conduct workshops to develop product architecture, UI concepts, and usability.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and plan sprint content.
• Perform risk management and ensure compliance with security and regulatory standards.
• Make or buy decisions; manage supplier selection and procurement coordination.
• Organize development infrastructure and plan team training.
• Personnel management within the framework of development projects
• Integration of new employees, Promotion of team spirit, Motivation of employees, Acknowledgement of achieved performance, Mentoring, Setup and maintenance of a network
• Oversee release planning, delivery readiness, and stakeholder communication.
• Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
• Support post-launch activities including handovers to maintenance and project closure.
• Ensure InfoSec, data privacy and Quality Gates are met
• Co-ordinate change management, training and roll-out readiness across locations

This is how you'll win us over

• Education
• The basis is your Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical engineering, or a comparable qualification.
• Experience & Skills
• You have a consistent track record and proven ability in Project Management for Embedded Software/Hardware development with experience of 10 to 15 years.
• A PMP Certification with Experience with Agile / Lean Methodologies is a plus.
