Job summary

dSPACE in Trivandrum seeks a Product Owner for new development teams focused on automotive hardware-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and validation workflows. You own the product backlog and advocate customer needs while aligning with strategic goals.

You translate requirements into features, collaborate with customers, partners, and the Scrum team, and manage priorities for BMS, VCU, MCU, vehicle dynamics, instrument cluster and telematics, using MATLAB/Simulink and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• A B.Tech/M.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, or Electrical and Electronics Engineering (minimum 8 years of relevant experience).
• Experience as Product Owner in the automotive domain with SAFe certification (POPM or SAFe Agilist).
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems (VCU, MCU, BMS, motor, inverter, battery, vehicle dynamics, instrument cluster, telematics).
• Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

You will work on exciting and technologically cutting-edge product development projects, in the areas of control prototyping, Software-In-the-Loop (SIL) simulation, and Hardware-In-the-Loop (HIL) simulation.In this role, you take ownership of the product vision and backlog, ensuring that the team delivers solutions that meet customer needs and align with strategic goals. You will act as the bridge between product management and technical implementation, guiding priorities to maximize value delivery. You will focus on requirements related to Battery Management Systems (BMS), Vehicle Control Units (VCU), Motor Control Units (MCU), Vehicle Dynamics, Instrument Cluster, and Telematics. Beyond backlog management, you will identify gaps, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement for validation solutions at both component and system levels.
