Job summary

Lester Infoservices in Bangalore is seeking a Senior AI Data Product Owner to own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI data products across AWS and Databricks, transforming dashboards and datasets into production-grade, governed data products.

You will define data contracts, SLAs, data governance, lineage, observability, and drive data ingestion, curation, and productization across cloud platforms, partnering with AI/ML, data engineering, security, and product teams.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Data Engineering, Data Management, AI Data Foundations, or Data Product ownership.
• Strong experience with AWS + Databricks.
• Hands-on knowledge of Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, observability, and data quality.
• Strong understanding of data contracts, quality gates, access models, and SLAs.
• Experience managing production-grade data pipelines/data products.
• Strong stakeholder management and product ownership experience.
• Ability to drive decisions, manage ambiguity, and balance quality, security, cost, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Role Overview:

The role will focus on transforming existing dashboards, reports, and ad-hoc datasets into governed, reusable, production-grade data products supporting AI training, evaluation, inference, monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the AI data product roadmap, backlog, priorities, and lifecycle.
• Transform existing dashboards/analytics assets into governed AI-ready data products.
