Job summary

Incedo is seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong Wealth Management/Asset Management domain expertise to bridge business needs and technical delivery. You will translate requirements into user stories, own the backlog in Jira, and collaborate with Salesforce Apex developers within an Agile framework.

You will engage with stakeholders, groom the backlog, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery across the SDLC, participating in ceremonies and driving data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of product ownership experience in financial services.
• Strong domain expertise in Wealth Management / Asset Management.
• Experience documenting requirements as user stories and managing backlogs.
• Experience with Jira and Salesforce Apex in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication with business and tech stakeholders.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner with strong domain expertise in Wealth Management and Asset Management (Compliance and Risk Domain) to join our technology delivery team. The ideal candidate will bridge business requirements and technical execution, working closely with Scrum teams to translate business needs into actionable user stories, manage the product backlog, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery within an Agile framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements specific to Wealth Management / Asset Management workflows (portfolio management, client onboarding, investment operations, compliance, etc.)
• Translate business requirements into well-structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
• Own and groom the product backlog in Jira, prioritizing stories in alignment with business goals and sprint capacity
• Collaborate with development teams on Salesforce Apex features validating functional design, supporting UAT, and clarifying requirements during sprint execution
• Actively participate in and support Scrum/Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives)
• Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices across the project lifecycle from requirement gathering through deployment
• Act as a liaison between business, QA, and engineering teams, ensuring clear and consistent communication across stakeholders
• Support data-driven decision-making by analyzing datasets and reporting on key business/product metrics
• Document and maintain functional specifications, workflow diagrams, and release notes

Primary Skills

• Strong domain knowledge of Wealth Management / Asset Management(Compliance and Risk Domain) business processes
• Proven experience writing User Stories and managing product backlogs
• Solid understanding of Scrum/Agile methodologies
• Hands-on experience with Jira
• Working knowledge of Salesforce Apex features and configuration
• Familiarity with SDLC phases and best practices
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical stakeholders

Secondary Skills (Good to Have)

• Data Analysis skills to support reporting and insights
• Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data extraction/analysis
• Scrum Master experience or certification (CSM/PSM) is a plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field
• Prior experience in financial services / capital markets, specifically Wealth or Asset Management, strongly preferred
• Salesforce experience (Apex, Lightning, or related certifications) is an added advantage
