Job summary

Norstella in India is seeking a strategic Product Operations Specialist to join the central Product Operations team. This role owns the operational layer of a multi‑product B2B SaaS portfolio, connecting product strategy to execution and building tooling to accelerate the team.

You will orchestrate AI‑driven workflows, govern data and processes, and partner with Product, Client Success, Engineering, BI, and PMO to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product operations, product analysis, or a closely adjacent role in B2B SaaS.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or related field.
• Hands-on experience with work management platforms, automation, and cross‑tool data flows.
• Experience with product analytics tools to inform decisions.
• At least one clear example of integrating AI tools into a workflow.

Responsibilities

Job Description

• We are seeking a strategic and execution‑focused Product Operations Specialist to join our central Product Operations team in India. This role runs the operational layer of a multi‑product B2B SaaS portfolio: owning the systems that connect product strategy to execution, building tooling that makes the rest of the team move faster, and holding the quality bar on data, governance, and process.
• You will be the person other teams come to when they cannot connect the dots between their tools, their data, and what they actually need to do — you figure it out, validate it with the right people, build it, and leave it in a state someone else can maintain without you.
• We require someone who uses AI tools natively, can orchestrate automations across multiple platforms, and thinks clearly about what to build before they start building it - atleast one clear example of integrating AI tools into a workflow in a way that changed how a process ran.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Tooling and Product Intelligence

• Design, build, and maintain operational systems the team depends on workflows, cross‑tool automation, and governance processes that span multiple business units.
• Think about edge cases before they happen, build in the right checks at the right points, and know when a process is too brittle to scale.
• Produce outputs others can use without you — documented, tested, and handed over properly.
• Work with product analytics tools (including Power BI, Tableau, and SQL), data warehouses, and dashboards to produce insights that help product and commercial teams make decisions.
• Respond to ad hoc analytics requests, distinguishing those that warrant full investigation from those that need a single number.
• Partner with commercial and product engineering teams to create joined‑up value‑delivery analytics representing the complete arc of Norstella's product business.

Governance and Cross‑Functional Alignment

• Own governance frameworks that span multiple business units and multiple tools.
• Document processes well enough that they survive staff turnover, including yours.
• Act as the operational connective tissue between Product, Client Success, Engineering, BI/Data, and PMO.
• Translate what each team needs into something actionable for the others.
• Escalate when something is broken above your mandate — with a clear articulation of the problem and what decision needs to be made, not a request for someone else to figure it out.

AI and Automation Integration

• Actively integrate AI tools and agentic workflows into how the team operates — this is a core expectation, not a nice‑to‑have.
• Measure the efficiency gain, to track the return on what delivered.
• Support internal adoption of AI tools across the product team: designing prompts, running knowledge shares, building resources non‑technical colleagues can use.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in product operations, product analysis, or a closely adjacent role in B2B SaaS.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience building and owning operational processes across multiple stakeholders, not just contributing to them.
• Hands‑on experience with a work management platform beyond basic usage: automation logic, integrations, cross‑board or cross‑tool data flows (Monday.com, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with no‑code or low‑code automation tools (Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or equivalent).
• Experience working with product analytics tools and usage data (Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Pendo, Gainsight PX) in a way that informed actual decisions.
• Comfortable working with APIs: read documentation, understand authentication patterns, identify when documented behaviour does not match actual behaviour.
• Atleast one clear example of integrating AI tools into a workflow in a way that changed how a process ran.
• Strong written communication across technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Strong EQ with the ability to lead by influence and work effectively across geographies and cultures
