Job summary

Ingram Micro India Private Limited is seeking a techno-functional Product Manager, SAP MDG to drive enhancements and governance of enterprise master data solutions. This role partners with business and technology teams to evaluate change requests and deliver approved enhancements within SAP MDG.

The ideal candidate has experience in master data management, data governance, SAP MDG, and agile product delivery, translating business requirements into roadmaps and user stories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5–6 years in Product Management, Master Data Management or Data Governance.
• Strong understanding of master data concepts, governance processes, and data quality principles.
• Experience with SAP MDG and enterprise data management solutions.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements and user stories.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and coordination skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the product owner for SAP MDG enhancements and governance-related initiatives.
• Partner with business stakeholders, governance teams, and IT teams to evaluate and prioritize master data change requests.
• Manage requests involving new attributes, validations, reference tables, business rules, and related data model changes.
• Facilitate governance reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise data standards and policies.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps, backlogs, user stories, and release plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver solutions on time and with high quality.
• Track project progress, manage dependencies, and communicate status to stakeholders.
