Job summary

iimjobs (Info Edge India) is hiring a Product Manager to own the job recommendation stack end-to-end, from ranking logic to UI presentation and funnel conversion, with growth of our premium applicant segment.

You will own the recommendation system roadmap, optimize the job feed and mobile UX, and work with analytics to measure impact using key metrics like application rate and conversion. Relevant experience with marketplaces is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of product management experience, ideally in marketplaces or consumer internet at scale.
• Strong product-analytics fluency: SQL, funnel analysis, cohort design, and holdout/A/B testing as a default.
• Deep understanding of recommendation concepts (collaborative filtering, recency decay, cold-start handling, relevance evaluation).
• Ability to differentiate product judgment from engineering defaults and push for intentional decisions.
• Crisp communicator grounded in primary metrics and guardrails.

We're hiring a PM to own the job recommendation stack end-to-end from ranking logic and algorithm parameters through UI presentation and funnel conversion along with growth of our premium applicant segment.

What you'll own

• The recommendation system roadmap: collaborative filtering, search-history personalization, and hybrid blending - including explicit PM ownership of algorithm parameters (decay rates, scoring weights, suppression windows) rather than leaving them as engineering defaults
• Premium applicant growth: acquisition, reactivation (recently placed, ghosted, passive tenure-ripe segments), and lifecycle email strategy.

Conversion of logged-in non-appliers: diagnosing in-session behavior patterns and designing differentiated treatments

• Jobfeed and mobile UX optimization for discovery and application flows
• A phased multi-initiative roadmap spanning ranking, UI surfacing, funnel conversion, and feedback loops

What you'll be measured on

Application rate, apply-to-shortlist conversion, and recruiter response rate - with counter-metrics treated as launch gates, not afterthoughts.

Who you are

• 4-7 years in product management, ideally in marketplaces, recommendations, or consumer internet at scale
• Strong product-analytics fluency: comfortable with SQL, funnel analysis, cohort design, and holdout/A/B testing as a default practice
• Able to go deep on recommendation concepts (collaborative filtering, recency decay, cold-start handling, relevance evaluation like NDCG) without needing to be an ML engineer - and translate that depth into product decisions
• Opinionated about where product judgment ends and engineering implementation begins; you don't let defaults encode product decisions
• Crisp communicator who grounds every proposal in primary metrics plus guardrails
