Position Overview

Product management is the function that guides every step of a product’s lifecycle — by focusing on the product and its customers first and foremost. Product Managers identify the most valuable problems to solve, enable their team to ship and iterate high-quality solutions quickly, and validate market impact. They leverage customer insights to deeply understand their problems, define the correct backlog priorities and create a clear Product brief. This is a central role on a cross-functional product team, owning the discovery, definition, and delivery of product solutions that drive measurable customer and business value. This role works independently to lead feature discovery, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive product initiatives from concept to launch—ensuring product utilization leads to tangible customer outcomes and business impact. This role requires strong business acumen and the ability to connect product utilization and adoption to meaningful customer and organizational outcomes. Success in this role requires deep domain expertise and technical feasibility, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results.

You’ll be joining the Corporate Cards product team within Paylocity for Finance. As a PM II on this team, you’ll own experiences at the center of how companies spend money, from issuing a card to closing the books. Companies can issue Paylocity cards to their employees or connect the corporate cards they already use. Whichever they choose, we provide the spend controls, receipt management, and seamless accounting sync that make life easier for both employees and finance teams. This is a key growth lever for Paylocity’s finance business, and we’re building a differentiated offering in partnership with Visa, Mastercard, and Amex.
