Job summary

Google is seeking a seasoned Product Manager to own end-to-end delivery of AI-enabled experiences within Memories and Google Photos. You will bridge technical and business teams to translate concepts into scalable products that delight users at scale on mobile & web platforms.

You will work across cross-functional teams, leverage GenAI capabilities, and drive product growth through data-driven decisions, with a focus on user engagement and personalization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch.
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or LLM interfaces into workflows.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineers, PgMs, and UX to translate PRDs into OKRs for one or more teams; drive launches, maintenance, and retirement with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Set the vision, goals, strategy, and roadmap for your workstreams and align cross-functional stakeholders.
• Partner with UX Researcher to surface insights and validate product concepts; develop clear product requirements for engineering.
• Execute the roadmap with engineering and cross-functional teams to build, test, launch, and land features.
• Define and track key metrics, analyze market and product data, and use experiments to drive data-driven decisions.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.

• 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
• Experience integrating generative AI tools or Large Language Model (LLM) interfaces into workflows.

Preferred qualifications:

• Masters degree in a technology or business related field.
  
• 3 years of experience in a role preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership.
• Experience working on consumer-facing UI products that operate at scale, with a strong emphasis on mobile app experiences (iOS/Android).
• Experience working with GenAI and ML technologies and how they can be applied to creative user problems.
• Experience using data and analytics to drive product growth and optimize user engagement metrics.
• Ability to work effectively in a complex organizational setup, collaborating with teams across different time zones and geographies.

Photos is one of the most sought after products at Google and is looking for both client-side (web and mobile), with server-side (search, storage, serving) and machine intelligence (learning, computer vision) Software Engineers.
