Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Product Manager to own the end-to-end lifecycle for a payments portal, from strategy through delivery and optimization.

You will define the roadmap, align customer needs with business goals, and collaborate across engineering, risk, operations, and commercial teams to deliver secure payout experiences. The role emphasizes self-service improvements, analytics-driven opportunities, and cross-border payout integrations, with a strong focus on stakeholder management

Qualifications

• MBA or master's degree from a reputed institution.
• Bachelor’s in computer science or related field.
• 7+ years in digital product management.
• Experience in fintech/payments or banking sectors.
• Proven track record with payment gateways, POS, e-commerce, or acquiring banks.
• Hands-on Agile/Scrum experience with JIRA and Confluence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

What You'll Own

• Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for one of the payments portal, from strategy and discovery through delivery, adoption, and continuous optimization.
• Define and maintain the product roadmap, aligning customer needs, business objectives, operational efficiency goals, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive the evolution of merchant and payee self-service capabilities, including payout tracking, account management, reporting, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, risk, compliance, operations, customer support, and commercial teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant payout experiences.
• Manage the product backlog, define business requirements, write and review user stories, and prioritize features based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
• Leverage customer insights, usage analytics, support trends, and market intelligence to identify opportunities for innovation and experience improvements.
• Own key portal capabilities such as payout visibility, payment status tracking, notifications, dispute management, reporting, and reconciliation workflows.
• Drive portal adoption and engagement by simplifying user journeys and increasing self-service rates for merchants and operational teams.
• Partner with internal platforms, payments, and other cross functional teams to deliver seamless integrations that support domestic and cross-border payout experiences.
• Define and monitor product success metrics, including portal adoption, self-service utilization, customer satisfaction, operational efficiency, and payout transparency.
• Act as the subject matter expert for the experience, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and influencing the long-term product vision.
• Balance customer needs, business priorities, compliance requirements, and technical constraints to deliver measurable outcomes and strategic value.

What You Bring

Required Qualifications

• MBA/ Master’s degree from Tier-1 Institutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields
• 7 + years of experience in digital product management
• Experience working in a multinational organization, preferably within fintech, payments, banking or management consultancy
• Proven experience working with payment gateways, POS systems, e-commerce platforms, or acquiring banks.
• Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, and product analytics platforms.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of payout ecosystems, including ACH, Faster Payments, RTP, SEPA, domestic and cross-border payment rails.
• Knowledge of payment orchestration, banking integrations, APIs, and event-driven platform architectures.
• Understanding of treasury, liquidity management, and funding models related to merchant payouts.
• Experience leading large cross-functional initiatives across Product, Engineering, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Commercial teams.
