Job summary

The Adani Group seeks a Product Manager – EPC to own the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products and platforms that support EPC processes in the renewable energy business. You will identify business problems, engage cross-functional teams, and drive digital transformation to improve efficiency and scalability.

You will interface with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, IT, and external partners, conducting market research to select technology vendors and manage implementation with a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or related field).
• MBA or postgraduate management qualification preferred.
• Certifications in Product Management desirable; PMP/Prince2/Agile-Scrum are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with EPC business goals.
• Lead vendor scouting, RFP/RFQ processes, and technical evaluations with TC team.
• Manage end-to-end solution development, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation for EPC tools.

Job description

Purpose/Objective

• The Product Manager – EPC will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of digital products and platforms that support Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) processes within the renewable energy business.
• This role involves identification of pertinent business problems, interfacing with cross-functional teams to conceptualize digital solutions, conducting market research to identify technology partners and vendors and managing the implementation of these solutions.
• The Product Manager – EPC will work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, IT, and external partners to drive digital transformation initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, transparency, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities of Role

• Product Strategy & Conceptualization - Identify digital transformation opportunities within EPC processes of the business - Define product vision, roadmap, and success metrics aligned with business goals - Conduct market research and benchmarking to identify best-in-class digital EPC tools
• Vendor Scouting & Management - Scout, evaluate, and on-board technology vendors and solution providers - Lead RFP/RFQ processes, technical evaluations, and assist Techno-Commercial (TC) team with technical inputs during commercial negotiations - Manage vendor relationships and ensure delivery as per agreed SLAs
• Project Management & Implementation - Manage solution development process and partners to ensure effective coordination and delivery - Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies. - Ensure seamless integration of digital tools with existing enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, HRMS, Primavera, BIM, DataLake etc.)
• Stakeholder Engagement - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and devise solution design and roadmap - Conduct training sessions, workshops, and change management initiatives - Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams
• Product Lifecycle Management - Monitor product performance, user feedback, and analytics to drive continuous improvement - Manage product documentation, release notes, and user manuals - Ensure compliance with organizational information security, cybersecurity, data privacy, and regulatory standards

Technical Competencies

• Domain knowledge - EPC,Data Analysis,Agile Framework & Tools (JIRA, Confluence etc.,ERP and Enterprise Systems)

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualification & Certification (if applicable) - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) from a reputed institution (mandatory) - MBA or Postgraduate Diploma in Management (preferred) - Certifications in Product Management desirable - PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certifications are a plus.
• Experience - 6–10 years of total experience, with at least 3–5 years in product management or digital transformation roles.
• - Prior experience in renewable energy, infrastructure, or EPC domain is highly preferred.
• - Proven track record of managing digital product lifecycles and vendor ecosystems.
• - Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Power BI, and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
