Job summary

Skyleaf Consultants in Vadodara seeks a Senior Product Manager to lead AI/LLM product initiatives, shape strategy, and own the end-to-end product lifecycle.

You will work with ML engineers and client operations, drive agile ceremonies, manage backlogs in Jira/Confluence, and champion SDLC-to-agile transitions.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years in AI/LLM-powered products.
• Experience in agile environments and running ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid).
• Comfortable guiding SDLC-to-agile transitions and defining what good looks like.
• Hands-on Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to translate complex problems into clear actions.
• Excellent communication: conversations with ML engineers and client operations leads.

Job description

• 9+ years of experience in product management, with at least 2+ years directly working on AI or LLM-powered products - you have shipped something real, not just written a roadmap for it.
• Demonstrated experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid) - including the ability to run ceremonies, manage backlogs, and drive delivery without heavy process overhead.
• Comfortable operating in environments undergoing SDLC-to-agile transition - you've done this before and know what good looks like.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence for backlog management, sprint tracking, and documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - able to break ambiguous, complex problems into clear, actionable product work.
• Excellent communication skills; able to hold a technical conversation with an ML engineer and a business conversation with a client operations lead in the same day.
• Bachelor's or master's degree in business, computer science, AI/ML, data engineering, or a related field.

Good to Have

• Experience in fintech, banking, mortgage, payments, or regulated enterprise environments.
• Practical exposure to AI/ML concepts such as document processing, workflow automation, decision support, or humanintheloop systems.
• Understanding of RAG architecture, vector database, and SQL.
• Exposure to LLM APIs and MCP concepts for integration design or product design context.
• AI/ML and/or PM certification from a recognized institution (Microsoft, Google, Coursera, etc.).
• Experience working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps environments.
• Prior experience working with globally distributed teams.
