Job summary

Henkel in India (Karnataka) seeks a seasoned Portfolio Manager to drive product strategy, pricing initiatives, and analytics across IMEA regions in alignment with global directions.

You will lead portfolio segmentation, SKU optimization, dashboard adoption, and data governance while managing product lifecycles and risks to ensure business continuity and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, marketing or related field (MBA preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in Product Management, Business Analytics or Portfolio Management
  • Advanced analytical skills and working experience with Excel and Power BI
  • Strong understanding of pricing, margins and portfolio profitability
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • High ownership, result orientation and project management capability

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the portfolio strategy across IMEA in alignment with regional business priorities and global product management direction.
  • Lead or support regional process excellence initiatives such as portfolio segmentation, SKU optimization, pricing actions, dashboard adoption, and data governance.
  • Implement risk mitigation initiatives for assigned products and manage shortages for business continuation/minimized customer impact.
  • Manage product lifecycle for assigned products, e.g., product phase-in/phase-out and change projects.
  • Drive product-related customer communication and approvals. Serve as the contact for internal product related inquiries.
  • Drive portfolio profitability through pricing support, product mix improvement, margin analysis, cost improvement initiatives, and SKU complexity management.
  • Build, maintain, and improve dashboards and reporting frameworks for IMEA and Global covering portfolio KPIs, and business performance indicators.
  • Develop automated and standardized reporting solutions using Excel, Power BI, SAP/ERP data, and other relevant tools to improve data visibility and decision speed.
  • Provide monthly performance insights, business review inputs, and data-driven recommendations to regional leadership and product management teams.
  • Partner with sales, supply chain, finance, R&D, and global product management teams to translate market needs into actionable portfolio priorities.

About this Position

Drive product portfolio optimization and product management excellence by improving processes, supporting pricing and profitability initiatives, leveraging data and analytics, and partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable business growth.
