Instead of stitching together legacy, manual tools, it is building an intelligent finance operating system and AI agents that centralises data, automates reconciliation, streamlines payouts and collections, and delivers real-time results.

Position Overview

You translate complex finance workflows into product requirements that power the client’s intelligent finance platform. You own discovery, data analysis, and delivery end to end while partnering with engineers, data scientists, and enterprise customers. Your work drives faster closes, cleaner reconciliations, and real-time insights for finance teams at scale.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct user research and discovery sessions to validate problems and surface automation opportunities.
  • Mine large datasets to uncover patterns, gaps, and KPIs; convert findings into feature ideas.
  • Write clear PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria tied to measurable business outcomes.
  • Prioritise backlogs and drive on-time, high-quality releases with engineering, data, and QA.
  • Own the product lifecycle: scope problems, define requirements, run UAT, and gather feedback post-launch.
  • Maintain strong cadence with technical and non-technical stakeholders; champion alignment between business and engineering.
  • Oversee data governance for master data, PII handling, and role-based access controls.
Must have Criteria
  • Engineering degree from a Tier-1 institution (IIT, BITS, NIT, or equivalent).
  • Overall Experience 4-7 years, 3–5 years’ experience in Finance, Fintech, or SaaS product environments.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel for data wrangling; familiarity with Python or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Ability to handle large datasets and turn analysis into actionable insights.
  • Skill in gathering and translating client requirements into product roadmaps.
  • Comfort operating in fast-paced, ambiguous contexts with a bias for action.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with finance stakeholders and engineering teams.
  • Technical and business product management mindset with on-the-go problem solving.
  • Assess technical complexities, risks, and dependencies to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
  • Provide guidance and support to resolve technical challenges or resource conflicts during development.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or B2B finance platforms.
  • Exposure to reconciliation engines, payment processors, or accounting systems.
  • Prior startup experience or working with distributed teams.
  • Solid understanding of finance fundamentals: AR, AP, cash flow, GL, trial balance, income statements, and close processes.
What We Offer
  • High ownership: build core systems from the ground up alongside the CTO.
  • Career velocity: influence architecture and roadmap while growing into leadership.
  • Real impact: ship fast and see your work power critical business operations.
  • Work with repeat entrepreneurs and technology leaders backed by respected VCs.
  • Autonomy, high velocity, product-first culture, and global ambition.
  • Competitive salary plus meaningful ESOPs.
  • Flexible culture with three days per week in the office.
