Job summary

Cloudxtreme is seeking an Engineering Manager to balance technical leadership with people management. You will lead enterprise-scale initiatives, shape delivery with product and business stakeholders, and mentor technical leads. Strong background in microservices, API design, and modern cloud platforms is required.

Experience with Agile methods and certifications such as PMP or SAFe is a plus, enabling effective transformation across teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading enterprise-scale projects with high complexity.
• 5+ years product management or engineering lead experience.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, REST APIs (Spring Boot/Java), React, and Azure.
• Broad understanding of SDLC, DevOps, SRE and quality engineering.
• Experience with Agile methods (Agile, Kanban, SAFe).
• Ability to build relationships with technical, product and business stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; MBA or graduate degree a plus.
• PMP and Agile certifications are a plus.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring leads.
• Experience planning/executing Agile transformations.

Role & responsibilities

Engineering manager role- tech & people management skills

• 5+ years of experience leading enterprise-scale projects with a high level of complexity
• 5+ years of product management experience or engineering/Technical lead
• Good understanding of one or more tech stacks such as microservices, Rest APIs (example - Spring Boot / Java), React, Cloud (Azure preferred)
• Broad understanding of technical delivery aspects such as SDLC, DevOps, SRE, Quality Engineering
• Working understanding of Agile methodologies such as Agile, Kanban, SAFe, or equivalent
• Ability to build strong relationships with technical, product, and business stakeholders
• Previous project management and leadership experience preferred.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred; MBA or graduate degree a plus.
• Project management certification (PMP) a plus.
• Agile certification a plus.

Additional Qualifications needed:

• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring project team members and technical leads.
• Experience in planning and execution of Agile Transformations will be a plus.
