Job summary

Pine Labs in Bengaluru is seeking a Product Manager to own core payments products across in-store platforms, including card payments, terminals, and merchant integrations.

You will define roadmaps, write PRDs, collaborate with engineering and operations, and drive end-to-end delivery from concept through launch, while leveraging AI to optimize specs and data-driven decisions. You will engage with banks, regulators, and partners to ensure compliance and successful adoption.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of product management or related technical experience.
  • Engineering degree from top-tier institutions (IITs, NITs, BITS, or equivalent).
  • MBA from premier B-school (IIMs, ISB, FMS, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience in payments (instore/Omni), POS terminals or fintech.
  • Strong technical foundation — comfortable with APIs, system architectures, and technical discussions.

Responsibilities

  • Own the roadmap for Core platform products for instore payments, ensuring alignment with objectives and market needs.
  • Define end-to-end lifecycle of initiatives including onboarding, transaction processing, settlement for different in-store card payment modes, VAS services, and enterprise interfaces.
  • Drive product development from conception to launch, including defining features and prioritizing requirements.
  • Write detailed PRDs, define use cases, and document edge cases for complex payment and integration flows using AI workflows.
  • Collaborate across engineering, business, and operations to deliver features at scale and resolve blockers.
  • Cultivate stakeholder relationships with banks, payment networks, regulators, and technology partners to drive adoption and compliance.
  • Analyze product and transaction data to guide decisions, monitor adoption, and identify issues.

Job description

Join our Core Payments Team as a Product Manager to own key product areas including Card payments, omni channel platform products, Terminals and custom merchant integrations across Pine Labs' in-store platform.

What you'll do
  • Own the roadmap for Core platform products for instore payments, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs.
  • Define E2E lifecycle of an initiative including onboarding, transaction processing, settlement for different instore card payment modes, VAS services, custom merchant interfaces for enterprise, retail and government merchants
  • Drive product development from conception to launch, including defining features, prioritizing requirements, and overseeing implementation.
  • Write detailed PRDs, define use cases, and document edge cases for complex payment and integration flows using AI workflows.
  • Collaborate across engineering, business, and operations teams to deliver features at scale — managing trade-offs and resolving blockers.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, payment networks, regulators, and technology partners, to drive product adoption and compliance.
  • Analyze product and transaction data to guide decisions, monitor adoption, and identify issues.
