Job summary

Nomura Services India Private Limited seeks a junior Business Analyst to join the Lending and Credit Solutions Transformation team in Mumbai. You will help implement new systems and digitalize product solutions, order management, execution, and trade lifecycle changes.

Reporting to the LCS Platforms Transition Head, you will gather requirements, translate them into user stories and BRDs, and drive data-driven optimization across processes and controls.

Qualifications

  • BE/BTech, MBA (Finance) or CA required.
  • 0-2 years of experience.
  • Experience in transforming business processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support strategic business transformation initiatives in Lending and Credit Solutions.
  • Gather requirements from Product Owners and end users, translate into user stories and BRDs.
  • Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose data-driven optimizations.
  • Prepare data-driven insights and ensure alignment with business needs and operating models.
  • Assist Programme Manager with planning, coordination, and status updates.
  • Collaborate with Business/Technology Owners to ensure value creation and efficiency.
  • Work with tech teams and vendors to resolve system issues in a timely manner.

Reporting to the LCS Platforms Transition Head, you will play a crucial role in implementing new systems and digitalization efforts for implementing product solutions, order management, execution, and trade lifecycle management platform changes. Your expertise will drive operational efficiency and support key strategic business transformation initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities:
  • Support in executing strategic business transformation initiatives in domain of Lending and Credit Solution
  • Gather requirements from Product Owners and end users, translating them into user stories, business requirement documents, ensures alignment with stakeholder needs
  • Conducts analysis of current business processes, identifies inefficiencies, focus on continuous improvement, process re-engineering translated to target operating model and provides data-driven recommendations for optimizations.
  • Conduct data gathering, analyze and prepare data driven insights, review design and functional specifications and solutions against business requirements and operational processes
  • Ensures artifacts and deliverables meet project management standards for all transformation projects
  • Assist Programme Manager with project planning, coordination, issue resolution, and executive updates
  • Collaborate with Business/Technology Owners to ensure value creation and operational efficiency
  • Work with technology teams and vendors to resolve system issues effectively and timely
  • Manage risks, issues, and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves minor project issues and escalates to management when necessary
  • Ensure engagement with business integrity, process owners, control functions e.g. legal, compliance, risk management, product control, treasury and finance as determined by implications of the change
