Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a talented designer to support small project elements by creating 3D models and 2D drawings in Creo with GD&T and tolerancing. The role involves EBOM creation in Creo/Pdmlink, interfacing with Manufacturing and Product Engineering, and releasing updated drawings to DSD per ECR/ECO changes.

Reverse engineering and documentation maintenance per ISO/IATF standards are required. You will work on multi-disciplinary tasks, manage multiple projects, and contribute to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field or local equivalent.
• 1–2 years of work experience.
• Experience creating 3D models and 2D drawings with tolerancing using Creo.
• EBOM creation in Creo/Pdmlink.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance requirements.
• Familiarity with molding, stamping and plating manufacturing processes.
• Self-motivated with good teamwork and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Effective communication across multi-cultural groups.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and 2D drawings with tolerancing in Creo.

• Coordinate with Manufacturing and Product Engineering to understand tolerance requirements.
• Release drawings to DSD incorporating ECR/ECO changes; create ECR/ECO in Pdmlink.
• Prepare check drawings per TE standards before release to customer/vendor documentation.
• Perform reverse engineering by measuring physical samples to create 2D/3D CAD models.
• Maintain documents per ISO/IATF requirements.

Job Requirements

• 1 to 2 years' of work experience
  
• Ability to generate 3D models, 2D drawings with tolerancing.
  Understand Engineering requirements and create new Drawings 3D modeling of new components in Creo.
  
• EBOM creation in Creo/ Pdmlink
  
• Interact with Manufacturing and product engineering to understand the tolerance requirements.
  
• Updating and releasing the drawings to DSD with the design changes mentioned in the ECR/ECO. Creation of ECR/ECO in Pdmlink as required
  
• Prepare check drawings per TE standard before releasing to DSD for customer/vendor supplied documentation
  
• Reverse engineering -Creation of 2D drawings and 3D models by measuring the physical samples using measuring instruments. Conversion of Auto Cad, Tiff or Hand drawings to Creo models drawings
  
• Maintain documents as per ISO/IATF requirements.
