Job summary

BEWAKOOF® is seeking a Product Development & MIS Executive to support the end-to-end apparel product development process and manage MIS reports for timely decision-making. You will coordinate with design, merchandising, sourcing, production, and quality teams, maintain accurate product information, and track development milestones.

The role requires 2–5 years of experience in apparel product development, MIS, or operations, and strong Excel skills for data analysis, dashboards, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in apparel product development, merchandising, MIS, or operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the apparel product development process from concept to production.
• Coordinate with design, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely execution of development activities.
• Source and coordinate fabrics, trims, and accessories with vendors.
• Track sample development, approvals, fit comments, and product revisions.
• Maintain product specifications, Bills of Materials (BOMs), technical packs, and development records.
• Monitor the product development calendar and follow up on critical milestones.
• Support costing activities and coordinate with suppliers for quotations and product feasibility.
• Ensure all product information is updated and communicated to internal stakeholders.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports related to product development, sampling, production status, and vendor performance.
• Maintain and update product databases, development trackers, and dashboards.
• Analyze development timelines, sample approval rates, costs, and production metrics.
• Generate reports for management review and provide actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and timely reporting.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes wherever possible using Excel or reporting tools.

Education

The role involves coordinating with design, merchandising, sourcing, production, and quality teams, maintaining accurate product information, tracking development milestones, and preparing analytical reports to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Coordinate the apparel product development process from concept to production.
• Coordinate with design, merchandising, sourcing, and production teams to ensure timely execution of development activities.

• Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce development lead time and improve reporting efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and documentation standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Manufacturing, Textile Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in apparel product development, merchandising, MIS, or operations.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of apparel product development and garment manufacturing processes.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Power Query, charts, dashboards) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail with strong problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
