Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a STPG Product Engineer to join our NAND/SSD-focused team. You will apply AI-assisted bring up methods to support high-volume manufacturing and help detect issues early.

Collaborating with global Product Eng teams, you will design test flows, qualification plans, and cross-functional task forces to resolve gating issues and improve yield.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical/electronic engineering or computer engineering.
• 0–2 years SSD/NAND/product development experience.
• Knowledge of PCIe, SATA, SAS interfaces.
• Strong problem solving and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated with leadership qualities.

Responsibilities

• Leverage AI product bring up to support NAND/SSD manufacturing.

Job Responsibilities

As a STPG Product Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc, key responsibilities include

• Leveraging artificial intelligence product bring up and supporting high volume manufacturing of NAND and SSD.


• Support for NAND/SSD failure analysis, yield improvement and data analysis.


• Using AI perform detailed electrical and physical failure analysis and work with other departments to resolve component and system related issues.


• Troubleshooting failure from customer return and provide solutions to fix the problems.


• Work closely with global Product Eng teams to develop test flow, validation plan, qualification of multiple customers and drive cross functional taskforce for qualification gating issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer engineering.


• Relevant experience in NAND or SSD industry will be an advantage.


• Relevant experience with computer hardware, knowledge of storage interface such as PCIe, SATA, SAS will be an advantage.


• 0 - 2 years working experience related to SSD/NAND/Product Development or relevant field of Engineering.


• Good understanding of NAND/SSD device operation, interfaces, product development


• Excellent Problem solving and Analytical skills.


• Effective communication and presentation skills.


• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, Strong leadership character.
