Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a STPG Product Engineer to support NAND and SSD manufacturing, bring up processes, and drive product development.

The role requires a Bachelors/Masters in EE/EC, 2+ years in NAND/SSD, knowledge of PCIe/SATA/SAS, and strong problem solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in electrical/ electronic engineering or computer engineering.
• Relevant experience in NAND/SSD industry is advantageous.
• Knowledge of storage interfaces like PCIe, SATA, SAS is advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years experience related to SSD/NAND/product development or related field.
• Good understanding of NAND/SSD device operation, interfaces and product development.

Responsibilities

• Product bring up and support for high volume manufacturing of NAND and SSD.
• Support NAND/SSD failure analysis, yield improvement and data analysis.
• Conduct detailed electrical and physical failure analysis and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.
• Troubleshoot failures from customer returns using AI and provide solutions.
• Collaborate with global Product Eng teams to develop test flows, validation plans, and qualification gating.

• Using AI and Perform detailed electrical and physical failure analysis and work with other departments to resolve component and system related issues.
• Leveraging artificial intelligence Troubleshooting failure from customer return and provide solutions to fix the problems.
• Work closely with global Product Eng teams to develop test flow, validation plan, qualification of multiple customers and drive cross functional taskforce for qualification gating issue resolution.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical/Electronic Engineering or Computer engineering.
• Relevant experience in NAND or SSD industry will be an advantage.
• Relevant experience with computer hardware, knowledge of storage interface such as PCIe, SATA, SAS will be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years working experience related to SSD/NAND/Product Development or relevant field of Engineering.
• Good understanding of NAND/SSD device operation, interfaces, product development Excellent Problem solving and Analytical skills.
• Effective communication and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic, Strong leadership character.
