Phenom seeks a skilled Machine Learning Engineer to join our Data Science & Algorithms team in Hyderabad. You will design, productionize, and scale ML models for information extraction and probabilistic matching, working with PhD scientists and veteran engineers to push the boundaries of AI in talent experiences.

Expect hands-on work across NLP, deep learning, and end-to-end data pipelines, with a focus on scalable systems that impact a global user base.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of industry experience in ML or AI roles.
• Strong production-ready coding skills in Python, Java and Scala.
• Solid understanding of statistics, probability and data analytics.
• Experience with NLP and Deep Learning for information extraction.
• Hands-on experience building end-to-end big data pipelines (Spark, Kafka, Hadoop).

Responsibilities

What You Bring

• The Foundation: 4–7 years of industry experience with a BTech, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• The Toolkit: Advanced proficiency in Python, Java, and Scala. You are a solid engineer who writes production-ready code.
• Mathematical Rigor: A deep-rooted understanding of statistics, probability, and advanced data analytics.
• Domain Expertise: Proven experience with NLP algorithms and Deep Learning frameworks, specifically applied to Information Extraction.
• Big Data Fluency: Hands-on experience building and productionizing end-to-end systems using Spark, Kafka, or Hadoop.
