Job summary

Wipro Limited is seeking a seasoned Product Design Leader in Pune to drive design projects from brief to realization. You will translate consumer insights into compelling concepts, prototype ideas, and deliver high-quality assets using Rhino 3D, KeyShot, and Adobe suite.

You will mentor mid-junior designers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help develop integrated UX for physical and digital products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in industrial design, product design, or similar; 8+ years hands-on experience including team leadership.
• Deep experience with user-centered design methods and design strategy to turn research into feasible concepts for physical/digital products.
• Experience working at a design agency
• Expressive ideation with rapid visualization of multiple concepts and iterative refinement
• Excellent written/drawn/verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with ability to find creative viable solutions
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Collaborative mindset to work across teams
• Ambition to build a world-class product design practice

What you ll do:

Lead our product design practice, executing design projects from brief to realization. Consistently create world-class designs from consumer insights and reflection, through concept sketching and prototypes that inspire our teams and clients alike

Work across a variety of mediums in the design and production of branding, product design, and packaging

Demonstrate exceptional skills rapidly creating hand and computer sketching to explore concepts, and bringing them to life in 3D using Rhino 3D, KeyShot, and Adobe suite to deliver high-quality, actionable assets

Excellent time/project management skills in a multi-project fast-paced environment, and a high do-say ratio.

Manage and mentor mid-junior designers in the art of managing clients, projects, and producing work efficiently using analog and digital applications to a refined level to hand off to our clients and partners

Work collaboratively across the various Wipro teams and Wipro companies to deliver on timelines and quality expectations of your projects including artifacts such as presentations, specs, and CMF requirements

Partner with other disciplines to create integrated UX for physical and digital products

Present your design work in client presentations in strategic terms with a design-focused rationale

Create PD-centric business development artifacts, POVs, pitches, and proposals

Qualifications

We would like you to have:
