Job summary

HypTechie is seeking a bright Product Designer to work with product, engineering, and content teams to craft exceptional user experiences for editorial content in Bangalore. The role requires collaborating across disciplines to design interfaces, improve information architecture, and contribute to a multi-brand design system.

You will lead multiple projects, articulate design decisions to stakeholders, and advocate for brand-aligned visuals.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience creating user-centered design solutions.
• Able to explain design decisions to stakeholders.
• Understand the value of design and brand, and have a point of view about your work.
• Interested in working in a collaborative environment where ideas are valued and shared.
• Able to take charge as a design lead on multiple projects, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Able to give and take direction and criticism.
• A high level of proficiency creating prototypes with Figma and other tools.
• Proficient using the Adobe suite and other visual design tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in design, HCI, or equivalent work experience.
• A portfolio of work showcasing how content, design and interface work together to create great digital experiences.

• Collaborate with editors and the wider team to ideate, evolve, and execute best-in-class visual design — art direction for illustration, photo treatments, motion design, and custom layouts.
• Help to define and evolve design standards and best practices via our multi-brand design system.
