Job summary

INDmoney Private Limited seeks a Product Designer with 2–5 years' experience to own end‑to‑end design for key product flows, from framing problems to shipped metrics.

You'll collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers in a cross‑functional squad, shaping features, interactions, and the design system.

Experience with multilingual or emerging-market users, analytics tools, and A/B testing is a plus for making data-driven decisions in Bengaluru's fintech context.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience designing digital products (web and/or mobile apps) with at least one shipped product.
• Portfolio showing process: problem, thinking, options, outcomes.
• Strong fundamentals in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and typography.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variants, and prototyping.
• Experience contributing to and working with a design system.
• Comfort with user research and usability testing, and with using data to inform decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain the 'why' behind design choices to non‑designers.
• Ownership mindset: follow work through to launch and post‑launch performance.

Responsibilities

• Own the design of features end to end: problem definition, flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.

• Plan and run lightweight research (interviews, usability tests, surveys) and turn insights into design decisions.

• Contribute to the design system, keeping components consistent, accessible, and reusable.
• Work with engineers during build and QA to ensure shipped product matches design, including edge cases.

We're hiring a Product Designer with 2–5 years of experience to own end-to-end design for key product flows, from early problem framing to shipped, measurable outcomes. You'll work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Researchers in a cross-functional squad.

What you’ll do:

• Own the design of features end to end: problem definition, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI.
• Partner with PMs and engineers to scope problems, define success metrics, and make sensible trade-offs between ideal and shippable.
• Plan and run lightweight research (user interviews, usability tests, surveys) and turn insights into clear design decisions.
• Use data from analytics tools and experiments to identify friction points and measure the impact of your work.
• Build interactive prototypes to test ideas quickly and communicate interactions to stakeholders.
• Contribute to and follow the design system, keeping components consistent, accessible, and reusable.
• Work with engineers during build and QA to ensure what ships matches the design intent, including edge cases and empty, error, and loading states.

Qualifications:

• 2–5 years of experience designing digital products (web and/or mobile apps), with at least one product shipped to real users.
• A portfolio that shows your process, not just final screens: the problem, your thinking, the options you explored, and the outcome.
• Strong fundamentals in interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and typography.
• Hands‑on proficiency in Figma, including components, auto layout, variants, and prototyping.
• Experience working within or contributing to a design system.
• Comfort with user research and usability testing, and with using data to inform decisions.
• Clear written and verbal communication; able to explain the 'why' behind design choices to non‑designers.
• Ownership mindset: you follow work through to launch and care about how it performs after.

Preferred:

• Experience in a fintech, consumer tech product at scale.
• Familiarity with analytics and experimentation tools (e.g. Mixpanel, Amplitude, A/B testing platforms).
• Motion design or micro-interaction skills (Protopie, Principle, Lottie or similar).
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS or how front-end components are built.
• Experience designing for multilingual or emerging-market users.
• Comfort using AI tools to speed up research synthesis, ideation, or prototyping.
