Cradlewise is hiring a Product Designer to own the design from zero to one: from research to the first shipped version. You’ll sit in on parent interviews, sketch rapidly, and shape a Cradlewise app and web portal used daily by thousands of families.

You’ll collaborate with founders, product, tech, and marketing, designing for accessibility and human-centric experiences with a strong emphasis on fast prototyping and iteration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or MA/MS in Design (interaction, graphic or visual comms) or equivalent practical experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating modern digital interfaces.
• Craft beautiful experiences with readable interfaces.
• Strong design process: research, workflows, and high-quality prototypes.

About The Cradlewise Design Team

Cradlewise Design is a close-knit team of User-Experience Designers, Visual Designers and Video editors from all over India. We create experiences to help every family sleep and live better, through science-driven solutions, and it's the role of the team to humanize and create every touchpoint with empathy and support.

About The Role

Cradlewise solved sleep for babies. Now we're going after what comes next: a brand-new software product in the kids category, starting from a blank page. We’re hiring a Product Designer to own the design from zero to one: the research, the flows, the visual language, the first shipped version. You'll sit in on parent interviews happening right now, sketch the same week, and watch your work decide what we build. You'll also shape the Cradlewise app and web portal that thousands of families already use daily.

What You’ll Do

• Design a 0-to-1 product in the kids category: from discovery and user research through flows, prototypes, and the first release.
• Create a visual language that works for two audiences at once: kids and their parents.
• Design and improve the Cradlewise app and web portal, including our subscriptions experience, funnels, and retention experiments.
• Prototype fast, test with real families, and iterate. Speed matters more than polish at this stage.
• Contribute to our design system for consistency across products.
• Work directly with founders, product, tech, content, and marketing to take designs live.
• Keep designs accessible and grounded in human-factors principles.

What You’ll Bring To The Role

• 3–5 years of experience in product/UI/UX design.
• A portfolio that can demonstrate your ability to work on modern digital interfaces.
• Craft beautiful experiences that visually present the user interface so information is easy to read, understand and find.
• Thorough understanding of the design process to perform research, build workflows and user journeys, execute design with high quality prototypes and test mock-ups for feedback.
• Understanding and implementation of best practices including accessibility standards and human factors.
• A positive attitude and enthusiasm, willingness to iterate quickly and strong bias for action.
• Passion for design and simplifying complex problems, and a hunger to experiment with new and innovative solutions.
• A humble team player who is a great partner to work with for cross-functional teams.
• Ability to learn from your mistakes and absorb feedback.
• Great communication skills, product thinking (why’s) and comfort with presenting and discussing designs.
• High proficiency in design tools like Figma and AI tooling to intelligently design creative experiences.
• Ability to learn and use analytics tools such as GA4, Mixpanel, and Microsoft Clarity to understand user behavior and make informed design decisions.

Academic Qualifications

Bachelors or MA/MS degree (or higher) in Design (interaction, graphic or visual communication) or equivalent practical experience.
