Job summary

Aggreko in Pune is seeking a Product Design Engineer - Electrical to support the design, development and continuous improvement of electrical systems across Aggreko’s product range.

You will create specifications, schematics and test procedures, maintain EPLAN CAD platforms, and manage bills of materials to ensure efficient manufacturing. This role offers career development within a global energy leader and a competitive salary package.

Qualifications

• Experienced electrical engineering professional with strong systems and equipment design expertise.
• Proficient in electrical CAD tools (EPLAN preferred) and PLM/MRP systems.
• Knowledgeable in electrical controls, panel design, generators, motor control centres and drives.
• Able to interpret requirements and produce detailed schematics, wiring diagrams and specifications up to 13.8kV.
• Collaborative, adaptable team player with strong communication and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and support validation and commissioning of electrical systems, including creation of specifications, schematics and test procedures.
• Develop and maintain electrical CAD platforms (EPLAN) and ensure high-quality deliverables aligned to time, cost and quality targets.
• Create and manage Bills of Materials and part specifications to support efficient manufacturing and assembly.
• Provide electrical SME support across manufacturing, operations, RCA investigations and supplier engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement across product design, ensuring safety, reliability, efficiency and adaptability to new applications and markets.

What You’ll Do
