Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned Production & Procurement professional to drive Lean initiatives and ensure daily production targets are met. You will plan shifts, assign duties, and generate process reports while upholding safety standards across the line.

The candidate should bring 5+ years in electrical/mechanical environments, strong English communication, and hands-on experience with Lean/Six Sigma tools to optimize performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• BE Electrical or Mechanical with 5+ years in relevant field.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and safety standards.
• Ability to plan work schedules and manage production shifts.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

The Opportunity

Accountable for obtaining goods/services required by the organization including: Indirect Operations (e.g., Office Supplies, Computers, Travel, Maintenance, Machine Parts, etc.). Direct Operations (e.g., Raw Materials and Services for Manufacturing, Production or Construction; Products for Retail, etc.) Procurement processes include: Product/Service Sourcing. Supplier Selection. Pricing/Terms Negotiation. Order Processing. Contract Administration. Supplier Performance Management. May include Strategic Sourcing An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.

Your background

• Candidate should have B.E Electrical / Mechanical with 5+ years of Experience in relevant field


• Technical Qualification Diploma / Engineering


• Handling the Trainees getting work done


• Understanding of industry safety standards


• Gemba board chart; shift wise production data; safety incident reports in intelex


• Proficiency in both spoken written English language is required
