Job summary

Accenture is seeking a Procurement Practice Associate in Mumbai to support procurement management and drive cost savings across client spend. You will participate in end-to-end procurement activities, from supplier identification to contract delivery, helping clients improve efficiency.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience, graduation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team, communicating clearly with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Collaborate with all levels of the organization in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Independently and as a team member, contributing to a collaborative work environment.
  • Understand requests, verify quality requirements, and follow up on purchase requisitions as needed.
  • Role may require rotational shifts.

What would you do?
  • Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
  • You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable They are involved in the identification of need finding and qualifying the suppliers requesting proposals negotiating with suppliers contracting delivery and analyzing results
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to work comfortably with all levels of the organization and fast-paced team environment.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member, with success contributing to a collaborative environment.

  • Responsible for executing defined scope of work agreed with the client and making sure the SLA & KPI targets are consistently met.
  • Ensure effective customer and supplier relationships and support the business needs.
  • Accountable for maintaining quality and service standards for the project and delivery continual improvement.
  • Understand incoming requests, check quality requirements, follow up with requester where required (by phone, email) to ensure specifications of the Purchase Requisitions. Roles and Responsibilities:
  • In this role you are required to solve routine problems, largely through precedent and referral to general guidelines.
  • Your expected interactions are within your own team and direct supervisor.
  • You will be provided detailed to moderate level of instruction on daily work tasks and detailed instruction on new assignments.
