Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Procurement Practice Analyst with 3–5 years of experience to contribute to procurement management and operations. The role focuses on optimizing purchase orders, supplier engagement, and value realization across client engagements.

The candidate will work within a procurement management team, applying systematic buying practices, ensuring SLA/KPI targets are met, and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in purchase order management or procurement role.
• Strong diligence and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
• Effective communication, prioritize workload
• Knowledge of supply chain management principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from the billions they spend on the goods and services that run their day-to-day business operations.
• You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable They are involved in the identification of need finding and qualifying the suppliers requesting proposals negotiating with suppliers contracting delivery and analyzing results
• A systematic approach used for buying all the goods and services needed for a particular project or for the company generally to stay sustainable.
• It consists of: the identification of need; finding and qualifying the suppliers; requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results; and contract close. What are we looking for?
• Responsible for executing defined scope of work agreed with the client and making sure the SLA & KPI targets are consistently met.
• Ensure effective customer and supplier relationships and support the business needs.
• Accountable for maintaining quality and service standards for the project and delivery continual improvement.
• Understand incoming requests, check quality requirements, follow up with requester where required (by phone, email) to ensure specifications of the Purchase Requisitions.
