Job summary

RSPL Group in Gurgaon seeks a Lead Backward Integration & Procurement MIS/Automation professional to drive BI sourcing, develop a single-window MIS, and govern end-to-end procurement dashboards.

The role combines strategic sourcing with digital analytics, enabling data-driven decisions and cost advantages across raw materials and packaging categories for the Hygiene Care division.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sourcing & Supply Assurance (Backward Integration)
• Identify top RM/PM categories for backward integration and drive captive/BI sourcing to fulfil 100% of the targeted RM requirement (as per top-sheet)
• Plan capacity at BI units and build contingency supply plans to maintain >97% supply availability/reliability from BI sources
• Cost Leadership: build detailed cost-build-up models to capture economies of scale and target cost advantage vs open-market procurement
• Vendor/Partner Development & Quality Excellence: drive QA audits and spec alignment with R&D to sustain >98% first-pass acceptance from BI supply
• Own market scouting, feasibility studies and NDA MOU pipeline for new backward-integration partnerships/toll-manufacturing
• Digital Procurement, MIS & Capability Building: standardise BI project governance and maintain a single-window tracker for cost/stock/status
• Build and maintain digital dashboards (Excel/Power BI) for daily/weekly procurement reviews and governance
• Drive SAP discipline, GRN accuracy and 3-way match compliance (PO/Quality/GRN)

About Hygiene Care Division (Approx. 1350 cr) HCD is into Hygiene, Utensil and Laundry care division. It has five manufacturing units in India and two in Bangladesh & One in Ethiopia. Product segments of RSPL ltd. for international markets are taken care by HCD division.

Position Title -

Lead Backward Integration Business & Procurement MIS/Automation.

Designation - Officer/ Senior Officer.

Job Purpose -

The Lead Backward Integration & Procurement MIS/Dashboards is a dual-charter strategic role. First, the role drives the company's Backward Integration (BI) agenda identifying, evaluating and onboarding captive / toll-manufacturing sources for key raw and packaging material categories to build cost advantage and supply resilience.

Second, the role owns end-to-end Procurement MIS and dashboarding building a single-window digital tracker for cost, stock and project status across all ongoing procurement and BI projects, enabling data-driven decision-making for the Procurement leadership.

Responsibilities -

• Strategic Sourcing & Supply Assurance (Backward Integration)

• Identify the top RM/PM categories for backward integration and drive captive/BI sourcing to fulfil 100% of the targeted RM requirement (as per top-sheet).

• Plan capacity at BI units and build contingency supply plans alongside BI ramp-up to maintain >97% supply availability/reliability from BI sources.

• Cost Leadership

• Build detailed cost-build-up models to eliminate intermediary margins and capture economies of scale, targeting 12% cost advantage vs open-market procurement for BI-sourced categories.

• Vendor / Partner Development & Quality Excellence

• Drive QMS deployment at BI facilities, regular QA audits and spec alignment with R&D to sustain >98% first-pass acceptance from BI supply.

• Own market scouting, feasibility studies and the NDA MOU Agreement pipeline for new backward-integration partnerships / toll-manufacturing agreements (target 2 new category readiness per quarter, e.g. CLS, Fragrance, Men's Grooming).

• Digital Procurement, MIS & Capability Building

• Standardise the BI project charter and governance framework ensure 100% of BI projects have an approved business case, stage-gate governance and milestone tracking, with monthly governance reviews with the Procurement Head.

• Build and maintain a single-window weekly tracker (dashboard) covering cost, stock position and status of all ongoing procurement and BI projects for leadership review.

• Drive SAP discipline, GRN accuracy and 3-way match compliance (PO / Quality / GRN); build and maintain digital dashboards (Excel / Power BI) for daily and weekly procurement reviews
