Job summary

Airtel Money Limited in Gurugram is seeking a Senior Manager for Procurement to lead end-to-end sourcing across technology, operations, and corporate spend. You will focus on IT hardware, software, cloud, security, and services, driving governance and vendor negotiations to optimize total cost of ownership.

You will build relationships with OEMs and vendors, ensure RBI guideline compliance, and supervise contract lifecycle, approvals, and supplier risk assessments.

Qualifications

• MBA (Finance / Operations / SCM) or equivalent.
• 4-6 years in procurement, vendor management, or SCM; experience in NBFC, fintech, or financial services preferred.
• Understanding of RBI outsourcing guidelines and arm's-length requirements for group transactions.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Familiarity with ERP-based P2P processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end procurement and sourcing function for the NBFC entity across technology, operations, and corporate spend categories, with a strong focus on IT Hardware, Software, Cloud, Security, and Technology Services procurement.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including vendor identification, RFP/RFQ management, commercial evaluations, negotiations, contracting, and procurement governance.
• Drive commercial negotiations and cost optimization across software licensing, SaaS/cloud subscriptions, IT infrastructure, managed services, AMCs, and enterprise technology procurement while ensuring optimal total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Build and manage strong relationships with key OEMs, technology partners, service providers, and strategic vendors to enable efficient sourcing, commercial leverage, and long-term partnerships.
• Ensure adherence to procurement governance, Financial Delegation of Authority (FDoA), RBI outsourcing guidelines, audit requirements, and internal compliance frameworks across all procurement transactions.
• Manage vendor onboarding, due diligence, KYC validation, empanelment, and supplier risk assessments in coordination with Legal, Finance, Security, Risk, and Compliance teams.
• Own contract lifecycle management including commercial agreements, software/service contracts, renewals, support agreements, warranties, and AMC tracking; proactively flag renewal and renegotiation requirements.
• Collaborate with internal business, technology, finance, and operations stakeholders to understand procurement requirements, optimize specifications, and drive timely procurement closure.
• Drive sourcing efficiency through benchmarking, market intelligence, commercial analysis, and adoption of best procurement practices across categories.
• Coordinate with Group P2P and shared services teams for PO processing, invoice management, vendor payment tracking, and resolution of procurement-related operational issues.
• Prepare and review procurement MIS and dashboards covering category-wise spends, savings achieved, vendor performance, contract status, renewal pipelines, and procurement turnaround metrics.
• Manage supplier performance through defined SLAs/KPIs and ensure timely delivery, compliance adherence, and service quality from vendors and partners.
• Identify procurement risks related to long-term contracts, technology dependencies, commercial exposure, and vendor concentration, and drive mitigation strategies accordingly.
• Continuously evaluate market trends, emerging technologies, software licensing models, and procurement practices to strengthen sourcing strategy and procurement effectiveness for the NBFC business.
