JLL is seeking a seasoned procurement professional for on-site roles in Mumbai/Pune, India. The candidate will deploy strategies, oversee end-to-end procurement, manage vendors and contracts, and drive cost savings while ensuring compliance.

You will mentor project teams, develop KPIs, and coordinate with PMs to meet project goals. BE Civil with 8+ years' experience and PMP is a plus; strong negotiation and analytical skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Procurement

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and organizational objectives
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment, across multiple projects
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential cost savings
• Resolve procurement-related issues and conflicts as they arise

Stakeholder management:

• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop sourcing plans
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets agreed-upon standards

Process and Risk Management and compliance:

• Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
• Implement and maintain procurement best practices, including risk management and cost-saving initiatives
• Required to conduct procurement on e-procurement tool.

Team management:

• Provide guidance and training to project teams on procurement policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness

Qualifications:

• BE Civil
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within a project management environment
• Proven track record of successful procurement oversight and process improvement
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and relevant regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
