JLL is seeking a seasoned Procurement Lead to oversee strategic procurement across multiple projects in Mumbai/Pune. The role requires strong vendor management, contract knowledge, and a proven track record of cost savings and process improvements.

On-site work is expected with close collaboration across project teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in procurement, BE Civil, and excellent negotiation skills, with PMP being a plus.

• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and relevant regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strategic procurement: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and organizational objectives.
• Oversee the procurement lifecycle from requisition to payment across multiple projects.
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential cost savings.
• Resolve procurement-related issues and conflicts as they arise.
• Stakeholder management: Collaborate with project managers to identify procurement needs and sourcing plans.
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets standards.
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Maintain procurement best practices including risk management and cost-saving initiatives.
• Conduct procurement using the e-procurement tool.
• Provide guidance and training to project teams on procurement policies.
• Develop and maintain KPIs to measure procurement effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Procurement Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project goals and organizational objectives
• Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment, across multiple projects
• Analyze procurement data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and potential cost savings
• Resolve procurement-related issues and conflicts as they arise
• Stakeholder management: Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to identify procurement needs and develop sourcing plans
• Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure supplier performance meets agreed-upon standards undefined
• Process and Risk Management and compliance: Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
• Implement and maintain procurement best practices, including risk management and cost-saving initiatives
• Required to conduct procurement on e-procurement tool.
• Team management: Provide guidance and training to project teams on procurement policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement effectiveness

Qualifications

• BE Civil
• 8+ years of experience in procurement, preferably within a project management environment
• Proven track record of successful procurement oversight and process improvement
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract law, and relevant regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office suite
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
