Job summary

Surbana Jurong India is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer to support planning, design and implementation of highway and road projects. You will conduct traffic studies, forecast demand and develop management strategies to ensure safe and efficient movement of people and goods.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 5+ years in procurement related to infrastructure works. Strong English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in preparation of bidding documents and procurement for infrastructure projects.
• Strong command of English communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for road and highway infrastructure projects.
• Prepare procurement plans, tender documents, RFIs/RFPs/RFQs and bidding documents.
• Manage prequalification, tendering, bid evaluation, contract award and negotiation processes.
• Maintain procurement and contract records, reports and audit documentation.
• Support project risk management related to procurement and contract administration.
• Provide procurement and contract advisory services to project stakeholders.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting traffic studies,forecasting traffic demand, evaluating transportation networks, developing traffic management strategies, and ensuringefficient and safe movement of people and goods.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies for road and highway infrastructure projects.
• Prepare procurement plans, tender documents, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and bidding documents.
• Manage prequalification, tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and negotiation processes.
• Maintain procurement and contract records, reports, and audit documentation
• Support project risk management related to procurement and contract administration.
• Provide procurement and contract advisory services to project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent/relevant degree
• Minimum 5 years' experience in preparation of bidding documents and in procurement of Works, Goods, Consulting and Non consulting Services, preparation of strategic procurement plan (or equivalent document) for projects, preferably for projects funded by MDBs.
• Male or female
• Good communication in English Language
