Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conduct geotechnical analyses for road embankments, cut slopes, retaining structures, pavement foundations, bridges, culverts, and associated infrastructure.
• Review geotechnical data and provide technical advice to design and construction teams
• Prepare Geotechnical Investigation Reports, Geotechnical Design Reports, and technical specifications.
• Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved geotechnical designs and specifications.
• Prepare technical presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will provide geotechnical engineering expertise throughout project planning, investigation, design, construction supervision, and risk management phases. The role will support the delivery of safe, sustainable, and resilient transportation infrastructure in challenging terrain and geological conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related with geotechnical engineering
• Minimum 5 years' experience in highway design projects, including extensive experience as a geotechnical engineer, preferably for projects funded by MDBs
• Male or female
• Good communication in English Language
