Job summary

Principal Financial Group is hiring for a back-office role focused on custodian operations and fund accounting. You will handle NAV calculations, reconciliations, and financial statement understanding, with 2+ years of relevant experience. Strong Excel skills and the ability to work independently will be essential.

Role requires night-shift readiness and collaboration with multiple departments to ensure accurate, complete outputs and adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in employee benefits, trust and custody.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with business partners and management.
• Willingness to work night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Should have expertise in handling custodian business and back-office operations.
• Understand financial statements with at least 2 years of experience.
• Work with accruals, reversals, balance sheet, reconciliations, fund accounting, alternative assets, NAV and NAV calculation.
• Handle multiple, complex tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Coordinate with multiple departments as needed.
• Take initiative and work independently.
• Ensure outputs are accurate, complete and consistent.
• Understand the NAV concept and its importance in fund accounting.

• Need to know the concept of Net Asset Value (NAV) in fund accounting and its importance.

5.30 / 6.30 PM IST to 2.30 /3.30 PM IST
