Job summary

Principal-Global-Services is seeking a Trade Operations professional in Pune to manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle, including settlement, capture, processing, and validation. You will coordinate with custodians, brokers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely settlement.

The role requires 2–4 years of relevant experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with Excel and MS Office. Excellent communication with partners and management is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 2–4 years in trade operations (benefits/trust & custody knowledge)
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented abilities.

Responsibilities

• Understand trade lifecycle, settlement, capture, processing, and validation.
• Coordinate with custodians' brokers and stakeholders to resolve trade breaks.
• Monitor settlement status and timely processing per settlement date.
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries.
• Ensure client positions are processed within the agreed timeline.
• Collaborate with custodians and brokers for timely matching and settlement.
• Resolve failed trade queries.
• May lead change initiatives for process improvement.

What You'll Do

• Understanding of Trade Lifecycle, Trade Settlement, Trade capture, Trade Processing, Trade Validation.
• Coordinate with custodian’s brokers and other stakeholders to resolve trade breaks or discrepancies

• SEI T3000 and blackline experience preferred/beneficial

• Monitor trade settlement status and timely processing of trades as per settlement date.
• Interact with both internal and external stakeholders to resolve queries
• Ensure client positions are processed within the agreed timeline
• Work with custodians and brokers for timely matching and settlement
• Resolve failed trade queries
• May engage or lead change initiatives for process improvement/innovation

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Strong Employee Benefit, and Trust and Custody knowledge as evidenced by 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
• Strong analytical skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to work/communicate effectively with business partners/management
