Job summary

Pinnacle in Jaipur, Rajasthan invites a Process Piping Engineer with 3–6 years of experience to join our engineering team. You will develop and maintain 3D process piping models, generate isometrics, and ensure design integrity from P&IDs to fabrication-ready spools.

You will coordinate with HVAC, electrical, and structural trades in Navisworks or BIM 360, apply ASME B31.3 where needed, and support junior engineers with Plant 3D best practices to meet client standards.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech or ME/MTech in a relevant engineering discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in process piping.
• Experience with Plant 3D, Navisworks, and BIM coordination.
• Knowledge of ASME B31.3.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain spec-driven 3D process piping models in AutoCAD Plant 3D from P&IDs, line lists, and equipment layouts.
• Generate isometrics, orthographic GA drawings, and spool drawings, maintaining project specs and line-number data.
• Model and route UPW, PCW, gases, chemical distribution, process vacuum, and exhaust systems.
• Apply materials and joining methods (SS 316L, PVDF/PFA, double-contained) per project needs and ASME B31.3.
• Prepare tool hook-up and POC models for fab equipment and process skids.
• Ensure correct connection sizes, valve arrangements, and clearances; coordinate with vendors.
• Coordinate with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and other trades in Navisworks or BIM 360.
• Resolve clashes, participate in coordination meetings, keep routing and elevations constructible and compliant.

Position Details: Process Piping Engineer

Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan

Experience: 3-6 Years

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech

Key Responsibilities

• Plant 3D modeling and drawing production: Develop and maintain spec-driven 3D process piping models in AutoCAD Plant 3D from P&IDs, line lists, and equipment layouts.
• Generate isometrics, orthographic GA drawings, and spool drawings, and maintain project specs, catalogs, and line-number data.
• Semiconductor and industrial process systems: Model and route process utility systems such as ultrapure water (UPW), process cooling water (PCW), bulk and specialty gases, chemical distribution, process vacuum, and process exhaust (acid, solvent, scrubbed).
• Apply correct materials and joining methods, including SS 316L orbital welded, PVDF/PFA, double-contained, and high-purity piping. For oil & gas and other industrial projects, apply equivalent systems per ASME B31.3.
• Tool hook-up and equipment interface: Prepare tool hook-up and point-of-connection (POC) models and drawings for fab equipment and process skids.
• Ensure correct connection sizes, valve arrangements, and access and maintenance clearances, and coordinate with tool layout and equipment vendor data.
• Multi-trade coordination and clash resolution: Coordinate process piping with HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, cable tray, and structural trades in Navisworks or BIM 360/ACC.
• Resolve clashes, take part in coordination meetings, and keep routing and elevations constructible, supported, and compliant with client standards.
• Quality, standards compliance, and fabrication readiness: Check models and deliverables against P&IDs, piping specifications, client BIM execution plans, and applicable codes.
• Produce fabrication-ready spools and BOM/MTO reports, track RFIs and revisions, and support junior team members with Plant 3D best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• Good knowledge of Fabrication CAD MEP and AutoCAD MEP, with an understanding of MEP modeling and drafting workflows.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills and Hands-on experience in BIM coordination and multidisciplinary project delivery.

Technical Skills
