Princetech Engineering Services Pvt Ltd seeks an experienced Plant 3D Piping Designer to model and optimize piping systems for industrial plants. The role focuses on accurate 3D models, isometrics, spools, BOMs, and cross-discipline coordination to meet project specs.

You will work with AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, and related tools, ensuring compliance with ASME/ANSI codes, and providing construction-phase support as designs are implemented.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).
• 2-3 years of piping design experience with 3D modeling software.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Plant 3D, CAD software, and 3D modeling tools.
• Knowledge of piping codes/regulations (ASME, ANSI).
• Experience creating isometrics and P&IDs.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D piping models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar software.
• Design piping systems aligned with mechanical, electrical and civil specs.
• Develop piping drawings including isometrics, spools, and material specs.
• Review project requirements and implement design changes as needed.
• Generate BOM and piping schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize layouts and resolve conflicts.
• Coordinate with disciplines to ensure cohesive designs.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Assist in project documentation and design reviews.

rincetech Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Plant 3D Piping Designer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and modeling piping systems for industrial and manufacturing plants using advanced 3D modeling software, ensuring the creation of accurate and efficient piping layouts that meet project specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D piping models and layouts using AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar software.
• Design piping systems for various plant processes, ensuring alignment with mechanical, electrical, and civil engineering specifications.
• Develop and modify piping drawings, including isometrics, spools, and material specifications.
• Review project requirements and integrate design changes as needed to meet client and project specifications.
• Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) and piping schedules.
• Collaborate with engineers to optimize piping layouts and resolve design conflicts.
• Coordinate with other disciplines (Mechanical, Electrical, Structural) to ensure a cohesive design.
• Ensure compliance with applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
• Assist in preparing project documentation, reports, and design reviews.
• Perform clash detection and resolve any design conflicts in the 3D model.
• Provide support during the construction phase, ensuring designs are followed accurately.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in piping design using 3D modeling software (AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit, or similar).
• Proficient in AutoCAD Plant 3D, CAD software, and 3D modeling tools.
• Strong understanding of piping design principles, standards, and materials.
• Knowledge of industrial piping codes and regulations (ASME, ANSI, etc.).
• Experience in creating isometric drawings and P&IDs.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with clash detection and coordination in 3D models.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and the integration of piping design with other disciplines.
• Strong knowledge of process engineering and plant layout design.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
