Job summary

Siemens Global Business Services (GBS) is seeking a Process Expert for Mendix-based software solutions in our Marcom, Sales and Delivery Services teams. The role is full-time and office/site based in Bangalore, India, with opportunities to engage with global clients.

The ideal candidate has 4–5 years of Mendix experience, strong SQL-Server skills, and the ability to map user requirements into technical specifications while delivering secure, scalable applications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-5 years of experience building software solutions on Mendix platform.
• Proven experience building web or mobile applications using Mendix.
• SQL-Server query skills. Understanding of Data-Model concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work in Agile projects to build software in Mendix.
• Work with Project Stakeholders to implement application requirements.
• Provide estimations for projects that could be implemented on Mendix.
• Work within a Team environment to build Application on the Mendix platform.
• Map user requirements into software specifications for implementation within the Mendix platform.
• Deploy and configure applications in Dev, Test, and Production environments.
• Implement/Configure application security. Provide technical support for applications built within the Mendix platform.
• Adoption and Evolution of software engineering practices and tools within the organization.
• Keep in sync with the latest technology developments and open-source offerings. Evaluate and adopt them for solving business problems of organization.
• Collaborate with other technology and business teams within the organization to provide efficient robust solutions to the problems. Deliver Stories / Sprint in time.

Your success is grounded in:

• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience building software solutions on Mendix platform.
• Candidates should have demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in building web or mobile applications using Mendix.
• SQL-Server query skills. Understanding of Data-Model concepts.
• Timely creation of appropriate technical artifacts e.g. Application Architecture, Database Schema, Sequence diagrams, Class diagrams, etc.
• Interpersonal communication and organizational skills required to operate as a contributing member of virtual teams that deliver quality services.
• Familiar with supporting peer teams and responsibilities such as infrastructure, operations, enterprise architecture, and security info.
• Experience working with multi-vendor, multi-culture, distributed offshore and onshore development teams in dynamic and complex environments.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working with USA/European clients is a plus. Mendix Advanced Certification will be an asset.
