Job summary

Mizuho EMEA is building a strategic cybersecurity capability hub in Pune and expanding its Privileged Access Management (PAM) capability to strengthen identity security, automate privileged access controls, and establish scalable, globally consistent security controls across the enterprise.

The PAM Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and enhancing privileged access controls that protect critical business systems, identities, and assets while supporting a modern security

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience implementing enterprise PAM and identity security solutions.
• Experience with RBAC, Zero Trust, and least privilege in large environments.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise PAM across infra, cloud, apps, service accounts, and privileged credentials.
• Automate credential lifecycle processes, onboarding, rotation, reconciliation, access provisioning, and decommissioning.
• Configure PAM policies, role-based access controls, onboarding standards, workflows, and procedures.
• Integrate PAM with identity, security, monitoring, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Lead platform enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting, and service reliability initiatives.

Role Overview:

Mizuho EMEA is building a strategic cybersecurity capability hub in Pune and expanding its Privileged Access Management (PAM) capability to strengthen identity security, automate privileged access controls, and establish scalable, globally consistent security controls across the enterprise. The PAM Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and enhancing privileged access controls that protect critical business systems, identities, and assets while supporting a modern security operating model.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize enterprise PAM capabilities across infrastructure, cloud platforms, applications, service accounts, and privileged credentials.
• Automate privileged credential lifecycle processes, including onboarding, rotation, reconciliation, access provisioning, and decommissioning.
• Configure and maintain PAM policies, role-based access controls, privileged account onboarding standards, workflows, and operational procedures.
• Integrate PAM capabilities with identity, security, monitoring, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
• Lead platform enhancements, upgrades, troubleshooting, and service reliability initiatives.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures.

Security Governance & Risk Management

• Support privileged access controls aligned to Zero Trust, least privilege, segregation of duties, and enterprise security standards.
• Partner with infrastructure, application, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to identify and reduce privileged access risks.
• Support audit, compliance, regulatory, and control testing activities through evidence gathering and remediation tracking.
• Contribute to the development of common PAM processes, governance standards, and control frameworks that support consistency across global regions.
• Identify opportunities to automate privileged access administration and control monitoring.
• Enhance visibility, reporting, and operational metrics related to privileged identities and access controls.
• Drive continuous improvements that strengthen security controls, improve user experience, and increase operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in Privileged Access Management, Identity Security, Cybersecurity Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience implementing and supporting enterprise PAM solutions within large-scale environments.
• Strong understanding of privileged access controls, identity security, RBAC, Zero Trust, least privilege, and segregation of duties.
• Experience supporting security platform integrations, automation, and workflow orchestration.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting audit, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
