Qualifications

Summary:

The Cybersecurity Governance Analyst supports the governance, reporting, executive communications, and operational management activities of the Cybersecurity organization.

This role is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and presenting cybersecurity data; supporting leadership reporting; coordinating governance activities; tracking organizational actions; and assisting in the development of dashboards, metrics, and executive presentations. The analyst helps transform cybersecurity information into meaningful management insights while contributing to reporting automation, process improvement, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.

The role requires close partnership with the Cybersecurity Governance Lead to ensure relevant, accurate, and timely data is available to support governance activities, executive reporting, performance management, and leadership decision-making

Key Responsibilities:
1. Governance & Operating Cadence
  • Support scheduling and coordination of cybersecurity governance forums, leadership meetings, and operational reviews.
  • Track action items, decisions, risks, dependencies, and follow-up activities from governance meetings.
  • Maintain governance calendars, meeting documentation, and reporting artifacts.
  • Assist with preparation of governance packs and leadership review materials.
2. Cybersecurity Metrics & Reporting
  • Collect, validate, and consolidate cybersecurity metrics from multiple teams.
  • Help maintain dashboards, scorecards, KPIs, and KRIs.
  • Identify trends, anomalies, and key observations within cybersecurity reporting data.
  • Produce recurring management reports and performance summaries.
  • Support development of executive-ready visualizations and reporting materials.
3. Reporting Automation & Data Management
  • Assist in automating reporting processes using Power BI, Excel, Power Platform, and other reporting tools.
  • Help maintain centralized reporting repositories and data sources.
  • Improve reporting quality, consistency, and accuracy through process standardization.
  • Support data validation and governance activities.
4. Program & Initiative Tracking
  • Track cybersecurity initiatives, strategic projects, remediation activities, and action plans.
  • Maintain status updates, milestones, dependencies, and risk registers.
  • Support preparation of program dashboards and progress reports.
  • Escalate overdue activities and support follow-up with stakeholders.
5. Executive Communications & Presentations
  • Assist in creating executive presentations, dashboards, briefing materials, and leadership updates.
  • Develop meeting summaries, talking points, and status reports.
  • Support communication of cybersecurity achievements, key metrics, and strategic initiatives.
6. Employee Engagement & Organizational Support
  • Support planning and execution of town halls, leadership visits, recognition activities, and employee engagement programs.
  • Assist with preparation of organizational communications and presentation materials.
  • Help coordinate organization-wide events and communication campaigns.
7. Audit & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Support audit, regulatory, and management review activities.
  • Coordinate evidence collection, documentation, and tracking of findings and remediation activities.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to gather reporting inputs and status updates.
  • Help ensure timely completion of governance deliverables and reporting commitments.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, PMO, Governance, Business Operations, Data Analytics, Risk Management, or related fields.
  • Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Analytics, or related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting platforms.
  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and prepare management reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple activities and work with cross-functional stakeholders
